Help with HPA bottle please

NiceButDim

S**t Happens!!
I got a bit of a problem with a few of my HPA bottles and was wondering if a few people could give me some helpful suggestions on the matter.

many years ago myself and a few other people thought it would be best to get some HPA bottles instead of continuing to use Co2.
once the bottles arrived we noticed that the o-rings supplied with the reg wasnt big enough to make a propper seal to the bottles and instead of waiting for the suppliers to send out the proper o-rings my mate decided it would be best to just use loctight on them, to seal them. I decided to just wait for the o-rings on one of the bottles and the rest were sealed.
well now the time has come to get them tested but I cannot remove the reg's from the bottles with loctight on them.

can anyone suggest a way for me to be able to losen the reg's without damaging the bottles?

Take out teh guage and fill nipple, etc, so that any air inside teh tank can escape, and so you dont damage anything too much, when you heat teh reg, close to teh neck of teh bottle...or...clamp eth reg, and put a BOA (like a oil filter remover) on the tank, and give yourself a hernia, getting it off...

Metal bottles you can blowtorch it (quickly) as far as i'm aware...

Get a grip of the bottle (in a vice if possible) and then get a spanner on the valve and turn / hit / apply force on it... it will take a LOT of force to move...

(do this at your own risk... it's how I do it but I can't guarantee its safe / clever)
