Hey guys,

This is my first post here so apologies in advance if this is in the wrong place or if a thread about this already exists if that is the case could a forum mod direct me to the right place and feel free to move/remove my thread, Now onto my question.

Ive just recently decided i want to get into this as a hobby, i have played in a party/group setting a few times now with rental gear and was going to buy some starting gear i have taken a look at what is present for me to choose from and now was wondering where i could take this to the next level?

Ive looked on some sites like Delta-Force for example but all these fields seem to be a very family/party/group orientated event. So i was looking for somewhere in my area where i can bring my own gear and play in a semi-professional game.

I am situated North of London near Cambridge. again im sorry if this is in the wrong place or already existent. Much thanks for your time.

Unfortunately the walk on (casual games for own gunners) scene has taken a dip recently as there are so many excellent big games available. I believe Mayhem in Essex still runs walk ons and that would give you a good start.

However if you fancied getting yourself along to one of the big games and rented some kit for the day that would also be a winner. Next one is here: http://www.campaign-paintball.com/campaign/timewars/

Don't be put off by the fact you haven't got any kit or if you will be on your own, paintballers are a friendly bunch and will look after anyone new.

We're a London based team and always happy to look after a newbie.

Ive been looking at Warren Woods and this place seems great its right on my doorstep and could be just what im looking for. But i have one question i cant seem to find on the site is would i be able to bring my own gear? if its within their regulations ofc. Thanks for this site again. From further reading is the monthly walk ons what im looking for here? is that the only way i would be able to do what im looking to do or would i be able to lets say go once a week or or so via bookings?
