Just got an angel with air - any good tips on how to improve its out of box performance.

Also - simple question - with my old air set up I could turn off the tap to cut the gas off and take the bottle off - at the moment my angel is sitting there with the air going to the reg - is this ok or should I turn off the supply to the angel - How....

Thanks in advance for your help guys ....

If you want to be able to cut off the airsupply to your marker, you'll have to install an on/off tap in the airline.

As far as improving the performance of the set up, you got a pretty mean combo already. All you can do is try to improve on it's consistency, which can be done in a number of ways. First off, don't set the output pressure of the AIR too high. About 650 PSI is as high as you need to go. Also, a volumizer will give you that little bit extra constincy (very slight though.....). Finally, if you set the dwell time a little higher, your shots will also be somewhat more consistent, but your rate of fire will, theoretically, be lower.
I'd also consider getting a set of quality barrels, for the barrel to paint match.

Good luck and have fun.

unscrew the regulating screw on the minireg of the angel, then adjust your velocity by adjusting the flow of the AIR instead of trying to regulate it with the reg, the AIR will regulate it perfectly for it's flow rate so if you try and use the minireg, you end up over regulating the AIR and the awesome recharge of the AIR goes unnoticed. Basically what i'm saying is bypass the minireg, you could easily use a gas through if you can find a decent looking one. Also, get an on/off switch, (i like Warped Sportz's)

Otherwise, it's hard to miss with that setup,
Get a Freak and you'll have the best setup $ can buy in my opinion.
