hi all. im in need of some help with my angel a4 please. how many shots should you get out of an angel air? i only seem to get about 500 out of a fill to 3200psi. it does not appear to be leaking nor does the angel itself so i am completely baffled. i also dont know about the settings of the gun itserlf so could it possibly be this.
i am completely new to paintball so please help.
thanx all,
danny.

I would have thought 500 - 800 ish wouldn't be too bad for 3200psi fill.

Andy 1000 shots on a 2k fill is impressive, you must be the reincarnation of jesus, can you walk on water too...:)

You could check your dwell, if it's too high the old efficiency may suffer. What you have to realize though is that low pressure = high volume, it's been it's inherrent vice forever. So, for instance, in an IR3, where the pressure behind the valve is 400 or 500 psi, it will require a smaller volume of air to propel the ball. Whereas with the A4 running 200 or fewer psi behind the valve, you need more volume to propel the ball and equal distance. If you really want to get the most shots out of a fill (and you're a bloody millionaire) the Newton kit from Evolve boasts 2000 shots from a 4500 psi fill.

Was only a guess to be honest :p I thought I'd used approx 500 rounds per game and was regassing every 2 games.

must have used less than I thought per game *shrug* oh well

Used to own an A4 and run it on the smallest volumiser, Angel air input @ 600 ish(maybe slightly more) and get about 900 shots from a 3k fill. Dwell was set lower than usual to maximise the fill and the trigger was capped at about 15bps to avoid too much drop off as a result of the dwell/volumiser combo.
