Do you already have a marker? & what type of play you wanting to do?

If No you don't have a marker and your playing rec ball then i'd save up for the marker and get your self some cheap camo.

What makes you want the spyder? If you see yourself playing tournaments at a later date, you might want to go for something a bit higher spec, an Ion is only £20 more and comes with an eye and is almost certainly going to have less kick than a spyder. You might also be able to get a deal on the classifieds for something a bit nicer but second hand.

Let us know what you want out of a marker and how you see youself as a player. Personally I'd say the pros offered by the spyder might not really be worth getting over the cocker you already have, in terms of performance level...you might regret getting it.

the features i would like are: fast, some anti chop system, accurate under £150:)

as a p8ntballer mainly giving cover (which my cocker cant do) and the spyder attracts me to it because of the looks the speed. people say its reliable!

Thats fair enough, if you feel your gun is holding you back then I'd suggest spending money on that instead of bling!

Another alternative might be to eblade your trilogy, I believe it can be done with a bracket like this one, but sourcing an eblade frame might be a challenge as I dont think planet produces them anymore. That route would give you an anti-chop eye, though, and I think it would be better overall than the spyder.

Anyway, if your heart is set on the spyder then I'd say go for that instead of pants!

edit: check this out: http://www.p8ntballer-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=62162
might be a *touch* out of your price range, but would allow you to use any barrels you might already have for your cocker right now, if you still fancy cockers.

Staying warm on a sunday!
rebel,

seriously dude, have you tried the spyder and ion?
you will notice that the performance level between them is worth a lot more than the £20 more you will spend to get the ion!

try them both out and see which one you prefer!

the spyder i would say is a retrograde to your cocker! even though it has electronic gizmogadgets on

the ion has break beam eyes, and a board which will cover you for all woodland ventures as well as tournaments should you decide to make the jump any time in the future!

plus there are a shed load more after market products and as a tech/ service point of view you have more chance that people will know how to fix the ion!

any questions at all dont hesitate to ask!
