Right i've got a checkit uni mount on the bottom of a DM4 and for the life of me i can't the the little bleeder off.

So far i've removed all 4 of the grub screws & the elbow. I used to have another one of these and it was pretty easy to push out but this one won't budge. Thought it might have been loctited on so will try heating it this evening, anyone else go any help/ideas/crowbars i can use :).

Pad it & use a hammer ;)

Cooks blowtorches are pretty good bits of kit to have to hand when doing this ;), but bear in mind the finish, if it's chrome you're likely to flake it off.
Bit odd that someone'd loctite a mount on

undo the 90 degree elbow, make sure it all comes off. undo the 4 grub screws all the way out from there it shud slide out. if and when you do mange to get it out there is 2 screws holding it onto your gun, there normally locktite'd in but not the asa it's self.

if not a 9" angle grinder will do the trick :D

Think you may have overtightened the grub screws and indented the body of the asa forcing the excess aluminium up into the grub screw holes. 2 ways of dealing with this the easiest and probably best is to get a soft faced hammer and tap it out, of if you feeling adventurerus then you can run a drill very slightly into the holes first, obviously you want to avoid drilling the threads out and drilling straight through the asa, to sum up hammer ftw/
