Hey guys, i just got me a revi, and put some new panasonic batterys in it (its a 12v) and it ran down within 3 rounds (less than 2hours), whats going on? it MIGHT be the batterys, but is there a problem with my revi?
i all ways us duracell
that was a bit quick for panasonic
did you leave the revy on when you racked your gun up it might of been going while you was havin a break.
just an idea
Hi mate i had the same probs at stb. i put two new batteries in and ten mins later they were flat.{cheep ****} i wont say who i bought them off. use a good alkaline like sony or duracell. or if you own an angel get an intellifeed
make sure that you always top up your hopper that way if you angle the gun down it shouldnt start up other than that try an get x2 rechargable batteries they will pay for them selves after about the 5th change over in batteries
poo,its bad batteries,i had mine in my 12v revvy for nearly a year 1 durrecal & 1 ever ready and its still spinning make sure you tun it off between games though
I've seen Rev's with bad boards eat up batteries like crazy. Even good quality batteries. Usually it's the transistor on the older model circuit boards that causes this. If you have a late model board (like the x-board) it's probably bad batteries or as has been suggested, the way you're using it.
If you do have one of the older boards just buy a new one. An x-board, a turbo-rev or one of the other boards that have just come out. I've x-boards in 3 of my Rev's and a Turbo-Rev in the hopper I use the most and I prefer the Turbo-Rev.
I like the turborev, except that it drains batteries (slowly) even when switched off. So you have to remember to disconnect them after every day you play. But it runs happily off 8.4v rechargables, so as long as I make sure they're charged before going out, it works like a dream.
