i have recently installed an anti-syphon to align perfectly with my marker, i was wondering do i have to use loctite on the threads of the valve? or do i just screw it in?

thanks

We use uber-strength green loctite for our site bottles!! You also need the right size of valve o-ring too (the one that goes inside the valve/bottle - there are a couple of sizes used depending on the neck of bottle... you should also crank your value on using a torque wrench.. the valves we use are cranked on at 35 lb psi. Also if your valve has been loctited previously you need to remove all the old stuff with a tap/wire brush from the bottle and the valve threads. Dunno if there is any legislation about this but i thought only 'trained' people should fit valves?? Be careful

Fitting valves to Co2 bottles

From what I have heard it is a suggested rather than legislated so guy doing it anyway so may as well seek advice but been shown is the best way at first.
