Help, newbie needing guidance

Out of the game
I've played a few times and fell in love with paintballing, i've been eyeing up a marker for myself and some basic kit and i was seconds from pressing the "buy" button...

But dobut has swept over. Most people say that sites are edgy about using your own markers in normal group games, also i can't find any walk-on days where i live and i seem to be in a bit of a paintball deadzone.

Is it worth me flogging out on the kit or staying rental? I'd love to own my own marker... As for the walkon games, i live in Widnes near Liverpool. If anyone can point me towards any local websites then it be much appreciated.

not sure around the liverpool area but im sure that somone will know more than me.....but there are some great sites that do walkons not a million miles away in manchester, congleton and the top end of wales.
all well worth a look....as for your local sites....ask them! worst they can do is say no and i doubt they will want to loose a regular customer.
my local site in duckinfield has a walk on every tuesday night and recently there has been a group of up to 15 or 20 scousers there every week!
also have a look at www.ontheedge.com they are in congleton (its run by planet) and do some brilliant walk on days and the new bedlam days sound great!

sorry i cant be more specific about stuff nearer to you but you will find that a good game is always worth the drive!!! ask the keltics who drive from scotland to play! or the epoch guys who come over from the isle of man!
