so your budget is 500 for marker, hopper and bottle?

do you prefer scenario or tourny style? if your going to a walkon next month you might be better going to it and getting a feel for peoples markers before you dive into spending that sorta money on one.

which walkon are you playing?

Yea thats my budget could go a little over if needed hehe

I have only ever used the tippmann 98 as its standard site gun.

I guess it would be scenario but i like the electronic modes of the tourny style markers

Will be going to skirmish walkon Bristol cribbs with a friend.

Tm15 is a mini inside so has all the features aswell. That's what I would get over them 3 100% however that's just my preference and opinion. Someone else will have the opposite one like on a thread not far from
This one the other week.

Rotor is best hopper I have had never fails and is very durable. Bottle wise I use an empire 1.1ltr 4500psi but if your only doing walkons you might get away with the cheaper 3000psi 0.8ltr

Depending if you want new or second hand call justpaintball tell them what you want and they'll also give good honest advice

Go to the walkon get your hands on some markers and see what takes your fancy.

Awesome thats some really good advice cheers reaper. Il have a look at the tm15 . I heard a few people go on about the bravo and sierra but they seem way to budget to me. just paintball are doing a rotor cheap with speed feed http://www.store.justpaintball.co.uk/hoppers-loaders/dye-rotor-loader.html. I have a old iconz I was given. il put a rotor and a bottle on it for my first walkon probably get a few giggles. Hey ho retro lol

Bravo and sierra, I don't actually mind the sierra for a basic starter but I got the bt omega.

Bravo sure I tried one at delta force didnt like it atall but it probably wasn't maintained and setup properly

Yeah Jp have some good deals , no problem happy to try and help

Look second hand. You can easily get yourself a nice Etha with a rotor and a good bottle and be left with some change!!

hey dude i train at the cribb with entity and you'll usually find some of us on site any given weekend, feel free to ask for a quick bit of advice. All i'll say is that unless looking like a soldier is important to you, go with a tournament style gun. Even if you never step foot on a tournament field they are lightweight, fast shooting, easy to maintain, comfortable to hold and air efficient over most scenario type markers. On that basis etha is an amazing gun for the money, so good in fact that its what i've supplied my entire university team with and usually recommend to anyone starting out.
That gun will do the job on any paintball field, whereas you may quickly outgrow the tippmann scenario guns.

Cheers cameron and liam cheers for the advice. Il be there on march the 1st :) Yeah Etha might be the one I go for :). I found out today they do a emc body so If I fancied I could slap scenario body and attachments on a tournament marker. Now that sounds pretty cool. Reaper the Rotor with speed feed and standard bottle I have ordered :) cheers guys

From the look of it go for the etha
A rotor will do you well
A fibre wrap 4500psi if you're happy with the price (about £150)
But a 3000psi aluminium will do just as well and you will find most sites don't do 4500 fills anyway
If you opt for 4500 then ask to check out some guys cylinders at the walkon to get the feel as there is such a variety of shapes and sizes
The true value in these is optimum balance and feel for you

Don't rush for an emc kit
You can pile on so much useless weight onto rails
The best use for a rail is to mount a camera for filming and torch for night or underground tunnels
