Please help I just bought a second hand ego5 but the grip screen lights up but no display the guy said I can buy a part but haven't found one yet... Plus possible service please help if poss I live in scotlands in the highlands.

I doubt you will find one either as planet no longer make the board for that gun. So it would be either a s/h PE board or there are various other manufacturers that make boards for it eg Virtue, Tadao, lucky. But they all do away with the lcd screen and use flashing led's for settings.

As far as servicing goes, PE guns are dead easy, just follow the instructions and you cant go wrong. Plus you will learn alot more about your gun. Oil only on the rammer and grease on the hpr and lpr regs. You can download the manual here

Have you tried a new battery? Is the battery around the right way. Always try a new battery first and use a good quality one and not one from a pound shop.

I have used them before and I have had no prblems with them
