i really really need some help... do i get an etek for £150, a mini for £150 or a pm7 for £170,

i keep reading things about all 3 and it's confusing the s**t out of me.

i want something reliable, easy to clean, and not too complicated.

tell me which one... please.

Reliability, cleanability and simplicity all go to the Etek. Since it's a poppet valve marker, you don;t really need to spend that much time on maintenance or on cleaning it. It'll shoot straight out of the box and for a while after that.

From what I've heard, the mini has a few problems with it's board functions. And, well, DYE/PROTO markers need relubing/maintenance after each game. They're good, but only if you look after them.

Etek's got my vote
:D

edit:: But as Lump said, try and get a feel for them all. Try before you buy is the best way forward.

I would say etek as well as they need the least maintainence.

Only buy the mini if its from someone you trust as they can be an nightmare if not looked after.

As for PM7, nice markers but jus a lil more time needed on maintainence, plus they are quieter on the field then an etek which is nice :)

.
personal preference, shoot all 3 and see what you like. dye/proto guns certainly dont need cleaning after every game :) on numerous occasions ill not clean mine for a couple of weekends play. shoot poor grade paint then the potentials there to break a ball as with any gun :)

thanks guy's, i have purchased a black/blue etek, with virtue board from toonster, which previously belonged to evoonline, and lazyhaze for a bargain price of £150. i'd guess the virtue board would be worth £50,
it also comes with a louis vuitton ul front. not my cup of tea so that will probably go up for sale, but it seems like a good deal to me??
