help im confused

hi all. ok after loads of surfing and looking i have desied to get the proto pm8 gun as my frist gun. now is this a good idea or bad one? also if it is a good idea can someone please tell me what sort of hopper i should buy and air bottle as there are so many to chose from i have been paintballing loads of time and i really want to get in to it so all help is wanted please any info that can be passed on is great and if anyone knows of a better gun to start with please tell.

PM8 is a great marker.

i'd recommend a 1.1 4500psi fibre wrap bottle, high pressure or low pressure is fine.

then one of the following hoppers -
Halo v35
Reloader B2
vilocity
Vilocity jr
magna

pm8 is a great starting gun, good choice.
As for a hopper the empire reloader B is a sound choice
As for air, id recommend the dye throttle 4500psi

the difference between hp and lp is the out put pressure - but PM8's work fine with both.

a fibre wrap bottle is also alot lighter than a steel one, and can hold a higher pressure + more shots per fill.

i wouldnt recommend the empire reloader B2 for the PM8, because its a spooler it is quite when cycling so you might have trouble but they are still great hoppers, halo or vlocity would be good. I havent means tested that theory but hey ho someone that uses the setup could shed some light.

PM8 is an awesome first choice.

i run a DM6 - almost the same marker - and it runs fine with a reloader B2

ok cool so i got the gun and the hopper sorted but two pelpoe say diffent type of air so could u give me the pros and cons of each sorry if i am takin the **** but as i got people with the know i might as well ask lol

air is basically all the same. as long as you get a 4500psi bottle you wont go wrong for 4 or 5 years

ok lovely thanks for all that people. just 1 more thing lol i just phoned up to buy the hopper and was told by the sales men to buy the manga drive with rf is this a good idea or bad idea anyone know?
