help DM5 air problem

i have a second hand DM5 and when i screw in my air bottle (dye throttle) air rapidly leaks out from where it screws into on the gun ( the air-port i think). The bottle is fine. This happens with most bottles, but been using a cheap site one thats been fine. Do i need a new air-port?

your airport is knackered proberly from over threading get yourself a on/off airport you cant over thread them

Hi

The problem could simply be that the tank o-ring is damaged.

The standard airports can sometimes be quite fiddly when screwing a tank on to them if the tank is already full of air. The pin valve can become slightly open before the o-ring is properly seated, causing the leak.

Where possible, screw the tank on empty, then fill the tank up.
