HELP: 05 speed or G7 fly

G7 Fly just preceded 06 Speed - so at least 6 months newer and a lot of enhancements, go for that
Different milling and LCD instead of LED, thats it i think between the 06 speed and G7 fly.
The 05 speed is based on the 04 fly platform where as the G7 fly and 06 speed are very similar and not to be confused with the old stock G7.

Um, yeah, correct, the 06 has LED display and runs on a PP3 9V battery and basically has less modes, whereas the G7 Fly has an LCD display, almost useless IR ports, its own rechargable battery (thatl lasts forever between charges) and is easier to change settings on, especially if your colourblind!
However, both have the same 'new' angel barrel thead, optoswitch, magnetic triger and totally rip when setup well. For UK tourney use the difference is down to price, cosmetics and preference!
If its between the 05 speed and G7 fly, why's everyone comparing it to the 06 speed? Seeing as the G7 fly is apparently similair to the 06 speed, its probably better than the 05 speed sooooo........go for G7 fly

05 speed and 06 speed, differences, 05 a little heavier, and has the older barrel thread and the pull pin breech release, 06 has the G7 style internals (imo no better, just newer). Both have the same board and the 05 has the easier to adjust twin vernier trigger set up and a sweet magnetic trigger, as 06, runs on a 9v. 05 a little more tuneable as it will accept a volumiser (06 won't) and/or evolve kit! 05s generally £50 - £100 cheaper!

i also shoot a old a4 special (basicly a, a4 fly) and it's never let me down, it's one of the best guns i've ever used
you can pick them up for 200 quid, a decent barrel set on it and it will keep up with most guns out
