Helmet Camera?

Really want a Helmet Camera and undecided on either the Go Pro or the Countour Roam?

Which one do you think would be better or is there any other ones?

Contour beats GoPro for helmet or gun mounting and is safe for being shot without a waterproof case

Can't go wrong with the go pros.Had one for a few years now,used it on my car,go kart never flickered even after coming of at speed.

I went with contour as the profile is quite a little bit smaller and looks a little sleeker than a big silver square on your forehead. the new roam can do everything a go pro 2 can do as far as im aware; as far as video frames per second, quality and photo capturing . The built in lasers for view finding is a feature im not sure the go pros have though and that comes in handy if youre mounting the camera to your mask. Another feature, is the slide to record which makes stopping and starting recording a lot easier than a button if youre wearing gloves. my little brother has a go pro 2 and im using a roam+2 and original contour and id have contour over a go pro anyday.

gopro all the way m8. this is gopro black edition using the handlebar mount on the barrel. the head-strap is better for walkons. the case is not 100% proof though, and the batteries are crap. but the quality is by far and away the best and given the right software the uploads on YouTube wont lack to much of the original quality either.

if you want the headstrap a mask will fit over the top no problem, even with a headband. but wear a beanie on top or you will look like a prat.

I've made a mount out of one on the connectors you get. Sits slightly lower the handbrake mount which is a good think. Nice bit of kit but as I'm taking a break might not have any use for it

i know everyone is saying GoPro and they are really good, but look up the Sony AS10 or AS15, they are very good!!
