Just a quick note to let you know that I am back!!

Doctor’s orders forced me to take a six-month break and that’s why I‘ve missed all the Millenniums this year! But the times up now and the Missus has stopped nagging so….. See you in Toulouse. Yee Haa!

I am aware of the shortcomings that the Millennium has had this year, particularly when it comes to bad communication. Unfortunately part of this problem was down to the fact that the person who always dealt with this, namely me, was out of action.

I welcome a few new changes, and wholeheartedly support Goose and Piper and Mimi in the new European Players Association. I strongly advise all of those of you who care to support them.

I had a welcome chat with Robbo a couple of weeks back where I believe we exorcised a few ghosts I hope we can continue to bounce ideas off each other in the future.

As for the Air issues. New Euro bottles I have been told that Toulouse will be unaffected, and HSE bottles will be able to be used up until the end of their test date. Therefore the only people who will be affected are those who use DOT bottles in Europe. You shouldn’t have been supplied it in the first place, so go back to who sold it to you! As for teams travelling to Europe from across the pond and using DOT cylinders, we are looking into this and think we may have found an answer.

As for the quality of the Millennium Air fills. I will make sure that all your concerns are relayed to Malo Lebreton who supplies the Air, but not speaking French (past ordering a couple of beers) I will have to pass the buck on this one. Malo is contracted to do a job. We’ll give him a chance to put things right but if he does not do what he is paid to do, then we will have to replace him..

Finally just to quash any rumours. There is not and has never been any conflict between me or the Millennium and P8ntballer.com. It isn’t the official Millennium website, (that is quite understandably www.millennium-series.com) but it is the single best resource for Paintball information on the web and if and if anyone needs help or info you know where to find me.

All the best

Niall

Nick

Ho ho, ha ha. You piss-taking *******. ;)

Niall's in it for the money - and that's exactly what makes him a good promoter.

The acceptance of the EPA is forced. And let's face it, it'll all come to **** and then he'll escape any blame. I think it's a good political move on his/their part. Good decision from a good business man.

Welcome back Niall.

Well thanks for that Rancid.. I do like money, but its not my prime motive. Lets say I expect the tournament make a profit nowadays!

Its the old speculate to accumulate theory really My opinion is that you have to give people what they want or they wont keep coming back. Rip them off and they'll vote with their feet. make it good and they'll come back telling their mates.who will want to play it next year..

As for the EPA. Wrong. I trust the people who are doing it. I know that their motives are good. If it was industry led I'd not want to know. They are good people who want to help the development of the sport. I'll help however I can. I am sure I'll disagree on many points, but we have needed a representative voice for the players for a long time, Many promoters need a reality check from time to time.

Its nice to be back!
