hellllp major problem with my ion :(:(:(

hey guys dunno if you can help me but here goes my bros ion is totally ****** to start the pressure was way down at around 50psi but once i got it up the 'noid would engage but no air would pass throu ??? i duno if its the noid or the reg but the reg is missin a filter (which if any1 has a spare would be amasin) or wat ive never seen anything like it and so i havent got any idea wat to do

Exactly how high did you adjust the pressure?

i put the internal pressure up to 150psi my ion runs at about 180 so it cant be too high :S or am i goin crazy

im a spaz it was jus a nu battery i knew id forgot to try summin lol thanks very much sorry for over hypin it lol

i spent 2 hours over hauling my ion before replacing the battery for it to work fine ;p

first port of call always the battery, second the o rings

Also, as for the little filter that sits on top of the reg??

its only really neccessary when using CO2 as generally its much dirtyer than Air....

But.. IIRC the Ion also has a filter in the Elbow going into the Reg, so it should be fine..

yes there is a filter in there.


if you want a new reg filter then buy the o-ring kit.
seeing as you have 2 ions having a set of o-rings spare could be very handy
