Heads Up .... and Then Look!!

For the more astute among you, the title of this thread is somewhat academic but I have changed the design for the pages of this site.
Now before anybody starts ranting it's due to some cynical need for me to make more money, it is not; I have done this for one reason and one reason only and that is to consolidate my customers and to try and make sure that every person who visits this site sees every one of my site's supporters ... that's it, plain and simple.


I have long since not really liked the fact my advertisers were on a rota in terms of the banner ads above and after thinking long and hard, I decided this was the best way out.
I realise some may feel it has impacted upon the aesthetics but I would ask those people to please bear with us because if my advertisers weren't happy, there would be no site ....end of!!

I am also acutely aware you too are my customers and this is why the final design format of the above button ads was as minimally intrusive as possible.
Mind you, when I first showed the final design to my wife, she commented, 'oh at least they brighten the place up' ... typically female I know but she did have a point I think.

Anyways, I just thought I'd let you all know why there has been this change and if any of you have any problems then please let me know ... but ... be nice, I like 'nice' ..

Personally I'd prefer if the Thread route, or whatever you wanted to call it was right at the top of the thread, below the advertisements if that makes sense.

Apart from that it's fine.... useful to have the links there if anything.

Holy crappers, I would just like to point out that Bon is the mediator of these changes; I was the architect I suppose but I must give Jon [Bon] the credit he deserves for coming up with the HTML rearrangements in such a short space of time .. cheers Jon Bon [No Jovi].

Oh and Tomtimus, I will see what I [Bon] can do with regards to your repositioning idea ..
