I'm currently thinking about buying Empire E-Vents Goggles (White) from Plant Eclipse for £48.89.

They're great masks and I love mine, but with masks it's more about preference and (imo anyway) face size/shape. If you have a skinny/small face, e-vents are perfect. If you have a really big round head you might want to look at some JT proflex's or something of that ilk, as e-vents can leave fatfaces a bit exposed on the jawline. Great mask though, go for it.
Oh yeah, since you mention headgear in your title, I might suggest getting a headband or sandana. It might seem pointless to you now, but having been shot in the forehead many a time, I'll say that they take the worst of the sting out, and if you get cosy with eve from eden headgear you can get some pretty sexy ones.

at that price range, the clear lens is usually single pane and the smoke lens is thermal, which is ok I guess, unless you want a clear thermal
I dont think the events come with the clear single lens anymore, just a thermal smoke one.
The e-vents are faultless in my opinion and i wouldnt use anything else.
