Have you ever used led lighting?

I just saw this video a few minutes ago and I was impressed with the creativity. Now, I'm thinking of getting one of these

That's pretty awesome. I was wondering If i could make a grip frame/parts for an autococker out of clear resin and put LEDs and batteries inside for awesomeness. Not sure how impressive it would be in daylight though.
