Okay Fly doesn't sell just springs. only the lid kit.

Use an elastic band...

Lift the lid up...put the band round where the lid connects (the hinge bit) ...twist it once, then pull it over the front of the hopper...

this will act as a spring for now. Loadsa people do it as Halo springs aren't known for the longetivity
