harogate, york, paintball?

just wondering if there are any tourney teams in the area. also fields to play at and times. moving over from texas. i will be near harogate. i have been playing for a few years. i have a cocker and an angellcd. i play mid and forward but more of a mix between the 2. i want to join a team a.s.a.p. any comments will help......thanx

there's Fat Bobs Paintball, which is near York. Andy, the owner, posts on here as Fat Bobs paintball.

as for tourney teams, theres a few in that area, plus they'll be Series 2003 next year which has a tourney a month at various sites around the north of England, each one probably no more than 2hrs from Harogate. your best bet would probably be to go along to the event in january and see about guesting for a team and talking to some teams from up north.

you could try Stupid Troopers for a start, i think they might take you on.

Dude were you the guy who's dad is going to work at menwith hill who posted a while ago?, There are various teams in the area ours included who would welcome new blood, we train at Scotch Corner which is around 1 hrs drive from Harrogate straight up the motorway and as already said most of the tourneys happen within 1-2 hours drive from there anyway, check out this website www.series2002.co.uk and it will give you details of next yeara events.

we play one tourney per month and train once also, so if you are interested send me your e mail details and let us kneo when you are coming over, bring som ewarm clothes though cause its a damn sight coller over here than where you are at present!!!!!

actually yes, i idid post previously. know that the t's are crosserd and all the i's are dotted i will be there in january. around the 1st.
