Are they any good for a new team on a tight budget?? Are they comfy and do they have good protection of the umm, manly parts

i have had no experience with them, but from the information they sound like little more than a set of combats, i would personally try and get some cheap 04 or 05 proto gear from america (if ya cant find any here) and have it all shipped accross

thats just my idea though
