Was just wondering, in terms of accuracy, distance, efficiency and consistency, which would be a better barrel? By the way it would be used on an AXE...cheers :)

Accuracy is dependent upon the quality of paint you use & consistency (see below), not the barrel.
Distance is determined by velocity and weight of the ball, not the barrel.
Consistency is determined by the quality of the paint and the effectiveness of your marker & bottle regs.

Efficiency is pretty much the only one of the above which is helped by having a decent paint to barrel bore size match - especially with today's smaller bore paint and most stock barrels being .692/.693.

Of the two choice, I'd go for a Freak - loads of backs/fronts/inserts floating around secondhand and you only need to change a single back if you move to marker with different threads, rather than replace all the 'fins' for the Hammerhead.

stick with the stock barrel, you won't notice the difference.

the barrel breaks i get will allu in the cold weather compared to stainless steel
They are still a piece of metal tube.
As long as they have a smooth internal, a round cylinder shape, not a square tubular shape, you will be fine :D
