Halo VS Velocity speeds

Im not going mad am I ? The Velocity does sound like its spinning a lot faster than the Halo yes ?

I've done some ball feed tests, (hopper with 100 balls in turned on and count how long it takes to feed them all through,) and they appear to be feeding at the same rate.

Just wanted to check as I've replaced the board on my Halo after some problems with it going fubar.

V-locities do sound super fast,Halo's are quieter..
Bit like Barry and his big bore Nova,might be louder...

guess it depends on the internal gearing ratios.

vl motor could be spinning faster than the halo but gearings could bring them down to the same feet rate.

Not too sure about gear ratios but the halo motor is a hell of a lot more powerful than the vlocity.

What your hearing is the plastic gearbox in the vlocity. Compared with the belt drive of the halo.

Anyone who remembers the old gear driven halo As will know what I mean.
