Halo V35

Hey guys
Having some problems with a halo i received in a trade which didnt come with a manual but i have fitted new battery's.
when i press the button it flashes green once then red once and doesn't spin
i dont know if this is a problem with the hopper or i am just being a complete idiot ( probably the second one ). dont really want to strip the halo down and take it to pieces..
any advice is good advice

the flashing is ok but it sounds like the eyes are dirty, hence no spinning
give them a clean then try again

probably the dumbest question but my first electric hopper,
where are the eyes located?

reachable with a fluffy

Are you sure it's a Halo, if it's a Re-Loader which looks identical it's sound operated.

Turn it on and after the boot up sequence of lights try knocking on the shell with you knuckles.

If it spins it's a re-Loader and working normally.

Also if it's a V35 Halo holding the button will enter into programme mode, not turn it on.

Only press the button for around half a second.

Ok cheers guys the guy i got this off in a trade has confirmed it is a halo.
i have taken the motor out of the shell and cleaned pretty much everything.
i have noticed sometimes when i turn the hopper on it spins for about 3-5 seconds then stops.
any help guys?

When you turn on your Halo, the spin is normal.

to be honest , all be it this is not helpfull - but it lsounds like you got the bum end of a trade there, if after a change of batteries it didnt turn on and work straight away, to me that is defective and should be returned :/
