light moves faster than sound therefore in theory the halo should respond faster than the empire.........in truth there is no noticable difference imo
halo has eyes which make it a little more tricky to put back together and clean in a hurry.

in use i like both and both are a bitch to clean out if you get a bad break in there as even my tiny hands wont get in there (i can get my whole hand thru the door of an egg to clean it)
look out for the new 3 peice shells coming soon as they will make cleaning a damn sight easier!

my advise, wait to see how much the new shells are, pick up a 2nd hand loader from a good source and change to the new shells.
i cant remember who makes em but heres the pic, 2 screws and the top lifts right off :) and about time too

I prefer Reloader B's, simply because:

If you get any paint or dirt in a halo B neck it'll affect the eyes.

Reloader B's wont notice.

And, when you're playing tournys, the Halo B's shut off after 20mins i think, which, if you have a very bad memory of turning your hopper on before every game, is a bad thing.

Reloader B's can be left on all day.

And besides, most Reloader B's come with Sparkly Shells! Should seal the deal.

Just a couple of reasons i choose them :)

I prefer the Halo.
No farting around with speed settings or making sure you turn it on in a quiet enough place. Turn on and go. Gun then loader you cant forget.
No putting pressure on the paint and the tiny bit of cone plastic whilst knocking it about between games.Broke 2 of them with my reloader. Ive had breaks in my halo neck. complete dismantle to clean (oh such fun), paint everywhere but it still fed fine.

Daft as it sounds it may depend on what marker you're using. Got a halo thats fine on my angel but goes belly up on my alias and a reloader that does the opposite.
As a straight comparison though I'd say the reloader is the faster of the two.
