How old is a TE board in a halo, is it the original one that comes with it. Anything I should know about it. Oh sorry forgot to mention it's a Halo B.

i think TE was a new revision, but its still real old.
you want at least a z code (can get them for £15 off) because the TE board doesnt have a pulse thing, so if a ball jams the motor keeps going till it burns out

The TE was superceded by the Z code about a year ago. I think it's still the fastest feeding software (apart from the V35, which I haven't tried, so can't comment) - the Z code feels a bit slower to me; although TE had a habit of burning out motors (I got through 3 motors before the board itself fried, when I replaced it with a Z board.)

Just get a V35 board if you can afford it....they have the latest anti jam software...and selectable speed...stupidly fast...worth having.

Yeah I think V35 is the way to go, now I've got to convince the bank manager (the WIFE) that it's something we really need, other than clothes and milk for our two kids. (Wonder how much I'd get for them on ebay!)
fatbeerboy does V35 boards for £23. i have seen a few z boards for £15 on the forums... i would go for the v35 board, adjustable, i love mine, ive go 2 and 1 z board halo
