halo problems

my halo that i bought not long ago will only feed when the eyes detect a ball there but does'nt feed when there is nothing there. gone through all the things i can thik of. can anyone help.

If it is a Halo B then it will feed until something blocks the eyes. Sounds like a board fault to me.

If you like I have a spare stock board that I would be willing to send you for the cost of postage

All the wires on the right way round, including battery pack?

sorry not explained it very well. when i'm not firing and the hoppey is full it will still try and feed, so the motor is whining at me. when i'm fiing and there is no balls in the hopper feed tube it will stop so i will have to turn rip wheel to feed.

Sounds like one of those special edition Irish boards

Electronic components can be strange things. I had a Vlocity board that just decided to melt a couple of months ago.

If everything checks out in terms of the wiring then the board is a strong possibility. However the eye harness could possibly have an issue and be causing the problem.
