DEPENDS on what your gun your using,
say in woods your using a tippy or an inferno then you'll be fine with an egg so there is no need to pay the extra dosh for the halo. but if you have electro gun then you'll prbably need the halo.
i have an egg and since most tournaments are capped at 12bps its fine. so the egg WILL suit any gun in any format of paintball.

Halo's are the better hopper, but eggs will keep up with all makrers at tornies now 12bs

Halo's feed faster but have feed issues when lent over.
Eggs will keep up with electro's even ramping markers as long as they have a Z-board motocrossboy you are ill-informed.
I've tried most hoppers Pulse,Halo's(3),Torque and am now currently using the Vlocity(the only hopper I'd choose over an egg) and still got spare eggs in my bag.
Eggs are cheaper to buy so make best sense IMO...

I didn't want crab to get the idea in his/her head that the egg was not a consideration for an electro,unfortunately that's how you reply reads .
