Like Parsky said, quite hit and miss with the IR3's. My old IR3 + HALO was trouble, but you can fix it by using a tougher ball detent (adding one also helps), adjusting your ram and using the new soft touch bolt from WDP. And you should be able to keep your COPS as well. I've found that the theory of balls being punctured by the rod is complete idiocy fabricated by the brats at PBnation and AOG as yet another excuse to blame the WDP anti chop system for everything wrong in paintball. Even if it were true (which I've tested with my old IR3 and my new A4 and found it not to be), you could alleviate it by rounding the top of the rod a bit with some sandpaper. Give all those things a try and see if you're IR3 doesn't make erotic love to your HALO.
