I believe a reloader B can run on 4 AA's. The Halo needs 6 though. You can use 2 9V's which a little adapter, but they run out so fast its a waste of money.

yeah my reloader b does run on 4 aa's....not for a huge amount of time mind you but it can run on 4...though i'm not sure how that helps about the halo....
To be honest my reloader b uses more charge then my halo v35 both with 6 x AAA.
Its deffo worth investing in some decent rechargables, say 2300+ etc like digital camera batterys they last quite a while, also make sure you take all the batterys out the loader when its not in use (end of the day)
I use 2700mAh GP rechargeable that I picked up from comet with a fast charger. In both my Halo and my reloader, they will do a full days play - Possibly alot more, but I always recharge them after the day.
