The spring needs to wind, so that it pushes the balls towards the neck..meaning, it shoudl compress when you turn it clockwise, and spring back anti clockwise.
Stick teh dish section on the drive post...drop teh spring in...what it should do, is catchy on the pillars, one in teh bottom, one on teh cone itself...what you might find, is, that it actually slips over.
So what I do, is hook one end of teh spring, through teh little hole, in the bottom, cup section, then drop your cone on, and check is the right side of the spring....otherwise, it will hit teh stop before it compresses....needs to be under tension, before the halo switches on.
dont do the screw up too tight..
