Just come to fit a Z board into my Halo and the Z code board push button is about three times the length of the one on the board (TE) I've taken out???

Is this right? Because I can't fit the rubber switch cover/plate in over the top of the board - it won't fit past the massive push button.

What am I doing wrong here??? Are you supposed to cut it to length or something??

My z-board halo came with a different back plate Ben, wasn't a plain black one like on my TE, but a coloured one with the Halo logo etc on.

Will attempt to pop the two backs off and see if there is any difference mate :)

Cheers buddy, now that would make sense. They have probably changed the back plates.

Wonder if Collier's International does refunds...? ;)

I got a replacement board a while back and it had the long button instead of the old short one (I'm not sure if it's Z code and I can't be arsed to take the thng apart right now to check.) I mailed Albert to query, and he put a backplate sticker in the post for me. The new boards don't use the rubber button any more, instead the sticker that goes on the back plate has a "tactile" raised spot that the long button sits under. Don't know why they changed it, maybe it's less inclined to let paint in or something.

The plate itself is still the same - I just had to pull off the rubber button and put the sticker on instead. So email albert@odysseypaintball.com with your address and he'll probably send you the sticker that you need.
