Hi can any one tell me if when buying a brand new halo b out of a shop should it have a 12 month warent with it no matter what , because i bought one form ............... and my board broke and i have only had it for 8 months and i phoned the shop up and they said it only came with a 6 month  warenty, so i got abit suspicios that they coulndt cear to help but want me to spend more money  when i could get it fixed under warenty , so if any body could point me in the right direction so that if they were telling fibs then i will notifie them to traidding standers :D because its not right for them to turn around and say that it only comes with a 6 month warenty when it doesnt . thanks burnzy :D

Most shops are quite honest and trustworthy mate and would tell you the truth as they want you to come back to them. Was it a UK shop?

If it was 12 months warrenty it may be a limited warrenty excluding certain parts so may be worthwhie contacting Odyssey who produce the Halo

yes it was a uk shop but i dont want to give the name of them ,but iv hads problems with them be for , it just got on my nerves cuz it cost alot to go there or send it in when i told them what was up with it but they insisted that i took it to them , so im never going to buy off of them again i have found a better place which is just paintball they give the best after sales servise so a big thanks to them :D . but i thought if the board went they would just replace it because its the hart othe hopper and with out it you have no hopper. but thanks for the reply

No worries mate, board are pretty cheap (looking around £15) for one from the forum here. If it was still under warrenty (which im assuming it isnt if thats what the shop said) then it would cost more than that to send it to the US for the warrenty repair to be done (warrenties dont cover costs of transportation to the fixing centre or back to you) So its cheaper just to buy a new board :)
