Halo B vs Reloader B (again...)

I know this has been done before, but I've researched and researched this so much and I STILL don't know the answer. Man, this choice is flipping my wig.

Simple choice? Hmm... Eyes vs sound. I'm sceptical of sound, don't know why, must be a bit of a luddite - guess it's just the devil I don't know.

So the Reloader still works when the eyes on a Halo would be gacked - but then, realistically, neither of them are going to work when they're gacked without a bloody good clean anyway, are they?

Whereas, the Reloader is simpler, self-calibrating, elegant principal - but what stops it pressuring the ball stack when the guy next to me starts firing? What's wrong with loader eyes anyway?

I know A.B from Quake said when they had trouble with their Reloaders they went back to Halo's. I know other people have said, "Hmm, weird, they're no trouble for me..."

Does the option of dropping a V35 board in later mean anything or is it just not worth it anyway?

It's to go on an Ion. Yeah, I know, 17bps cap, etc, etc. It's just time to get rid of the egg, and the balance issues, etc

Reloader B
Turn it on in a quiet place and it is as reliable as you could hope for. I always turn it on under a sweatshirt if people are dry firing around me. I have never had it try to feed when someone next to me was shooting, but it does turn sometimes when I close the lid. I greased the belt with dow 33 and it will slip, now, though I don't think I ever broke a ball before. In fact, the only time I have broken paint in my Re B was diving over and into a snake (awkward landing).

Those gooddamn eyes! I have broken so much paint in these things it is obscene. Then you are stuck using the little wheel on the bottom. And what does red-green-red-green mean with this new board?!? I have to learn new R2D2 phrases every time I upgrade! Oh no! Black shelled paint (at the last local tournament). You'd think someone would know better by now. Stupid Halo! Where's my Egg? Anybody got any electric tape?

I would agree

With all above but what you need to remember is that your using an ion, no offence they are a great gun in many ways but i only use my reloader b because I have a DM5 and an Eclipse ego and you need speed. I would eather stick to you eggy and up it to z if you havent already or if you must then get a reloader and set its speed to minimum so not to much preasure is on the stack.

the angry halo board stops the jam cut off etc and is as fast as a reloader b apparently

i find the reloader pushes unessesarily a bit but the halo cant see when smegged up there is pros and cons for both so its personal preference mate

i have a standard halo and a angry halo got rid of the reloader as it was cracking paint in the stack of my 05 speed

OMG!

Are you for real? Just because your gun isn't costing you £800+ then you should use a far slower loader?

Firstly, I would run a Halo/Reloader B on any electro, just to maximise it's potential firepower.

Secondly, I very much doubt that you are capable of shooting over the 17bps that the ion is electronically limited to, and certainly not up to the 23bps that the Halo/Reloader B are supposedly capable of.

Bulldog - Get a Halo, then if you have problems with paint smegging up the eyes, buy the Reloader upgrade kit - job done.

in my personal opinion, the halo is a better choice.
