Halo b, reloader b, empire so many!!!

right im abit confused with all the makes and models of the halo design and there differences.

so....
rip drive= you can feed paintballs out of it by turning the little cog on the underside.

belt drive= you cant do as above( but is there any other differences other than thiis??)

whats the difference between a halo b and an empire reloader??

do most people recommend a sound activated board or eyes??

the kewl thing about a rip drive is that you can feed about 15 balls into the feed if you batteries go down or something goes wrong.

Reloader B's are in my opinion better because they don't have eyes to get messed up. They don't use as much battery either (in my experience).

All newer Halo and Empire loaders are belt driven
this refers to the method used to drive the feed cone by the motor. it is attached by a belt. older models (such as the Halo A were Direct drive and relied upon cogs)

Rip drive halo B differs from Halo B due to teh addition of the rip drive. Either model uses eyes to detect/feed balls

Empire B comes with Rip drive as standard and uses sound activation (marker firing)

Recommend either model, but prefer the Empire as it has 3 speeds and the option to use 4 batteries (lighter) and it uses less battery power in my experience.

Obviously if playing tourney a rip drive is very useful incase of battery failure. Also a benefit at the crono so you can manually feed balls into your gun.

Just to complicate things there is an Empire B2 out soon, with an updated board. Maybe wait for that?
Also new is the VLocity loader - like a halo but made by the same people as the Egg loaders

its the EMPIRE RELOADER B2
nothing to do with Halo (made by Odyssey)

The 3 peice shell is an aftermarket product which I beleive is made by Hybrid.

VLocity - function over form, I hear they work well

Vlocity must have been working ok because a couple of XSV players having been testing them for a couple of months and seem to have stuck with them, If they were no good they would have been ditched.
