I think you'll still get the same problem mate, cos' its the sprung ball stack on halo's which causes the problem, pushing balls past the detents, and AFAIK, the halo A also had the sprung ball stack, the B is just faster and quieter (I think?) because its belt driven :)

Nope, the HALO A didn't have the spring, it wasn't a true force feed system. The HALO B, however, is and it causes problems with the IR3's (balls don't roll FORWARD past the detent, they roll BACKWARD past the detent, and get stuck behind the COPS rod so that when you shoot there is ball behind the COPS rod, and another ball half loaded, and you break both of them). I'm not aware of any problems with the LCD's, from what I've heard they work fine. I have a HALO B on my IR3 that works great, I just put a stronger ball detent in, and it fixed all my problems. The new TE software is supposed to clear up most Angel problems anyway.

Well, it kinda happens to Intimidators...If it's a problem, we just get harder ball detents (they're like plastic...the normal ones are made of rubber). Some people like to use Spyder detents, I've been told they're slightly longer.

Don't forget a low rise aswell ;)

There is no such thing as an easy fix for Halo's and Angels though :( on some markers they work fine, with no modifications to the markers settings and on others you need to fiddle like crazy. My Halo worked on both my LCD and my Speed with no changing of any settings. I am sure that I could put my Halo on another Angel and that person would have problems..it is just luck of the draw...previously we have seen people asking about the batterys dying on Halo's...mine doesn't and I don't disconnect the battery pack at the end of the day all I do is turn it off..but then I must be lucky. The TE software is "alledged" to improve things, the dwell increase is "alledged" to improve things, stronger (???) ball detents are "alledged" to improve things, greasing the belt (seems stupid as you are making it slip!!) is "alledged" to improve things...and in turn the advice I started this post off with about a low rise is "alledged" to improve things, this last one did work for me but then I did have a high rise fitted (this to allow the revvy I have to work better, as that was the advice regarding the improving of those:rolleyes: )

The other standing advice is to forget the Halo and buy an Egg, well with a "Y" board or not I have seen Eggs feed really badly, watching a player shoot (in a game) and actually see the gaps in the feed neck. The best thing would be to try it out, you won't drop too much money if a Halo or Egg doesn't work for you as there are plenty of people who will buy it off you if things don't work out for your setup .
