A little piece of foam stops the rattle and 2 9v lithiums will last a long time. I've used the same pair through 2 tournaments + a practice + they're still going or the good Powerex rechargables will easily last you all day and are cheaper in the long run. Plus, it shaves almost 3 ounces off your halo--sad, I know but I actually weighed them all out on a digital scale. Some people will say thats not worth it but I use a matrix so try to save weight wherever I can.

Yeh coz i've just got hold of a bunc of 9v rechargeables for my hopper now so i dont really dont wont to have to pay for the AA's. How much do you pay for the MOD coz i heard they already take 9v's.

It just plugs in.

But beware rechargable 9Vs are typically not good enough to run a halo, both in terms of current capacity (how soon they run out) and power capability (how fast they will make your halo feed at).

SkeetHamster has some really heavy duty 9Vs for sale that sound like they would do the trick.

But you would be far better off with a revvy (or even vl200) than a halo powered from 2 regular rechargable 9Vs.
