After seeing all the latest center feeds and warp feeds I'm getting a bit jealous, as I own a Mag with a Standard right hand feed. So with the elbow and hoppper attached it sticks up and out quite a bit.

What are the mechanical & warranty (with AGD) implications with sawing off A BIT! of the feed tube just to shorten it a little.

I could dish out 50 quid to have a powerfeed. But this would be free and easy to do as long as it was sawn completly level.

DONT

Dont do it I know someone that did that a few years ago and then had nothing but trouble....with chopping.
Basically after you've hacked a little off it, it doesnt allow enough paint in the feed tube so the balls just wobble in there especially if you cut it to short.
So dont do it and it doesnt make much difference anyway about 1cm lower, if that, so is it really worth it? No.
Just learn to live with it and keep tighter....and lower.
Remember you dont always have to shoot with your gun at your shoulder so the hopper stays high or sticks out.
Also what about practising shooting left handed.
And I am sure that any hacking would invalidate any warranty.
