Gun choice

Looking for another marker around 150 mark, woodsball but wanting a tourney style marker,
was looking at a proto, what other markers would you recommend?

ive heard proto rail isnt as good as the etha...ive got myself a new etha and im more a woodsball player, i like it because you can switch between tourny play or woods with the EMC you can make it look the part too

I would stay clear of the protos as they tend to be a bit temperamental. I would go Etha, or Mini. At that budget, you may struggle to find an Etha, but Mini you wont have any problems.

I like the look of etha's, what would a 2nd hand price range be for it?

I would say approx £200. It it has EMC kit with it then more.

Mini or possibly an older Etek would be a great choice.

i agree, the etha with an EMC kit has the best of both worlds. I have always heard bad things about the proto rail but cant really criticize as i have never owned one.

to be honest if you decide to get an etha, get on new...its only £260 at some selected stores !

I have just started playing and use a second hand mini and I'm really enjoying playing with it personally, its easy to maintain for a first gun and shoots well in my opinion, but do remember I have not played with any other guns so my opinion does not count for much at the moment

if you were to get that, i'd buy a better barrel, becuase sometimes stock barrels can be crap
