Grip Tape any good when wet?

Hey folks
I know some of you probably have Grip tape on your tanks etc.

How much grip does it offer when wet/muddy or covered in paint please?
Toying with idea of putting some on the grip bar of my wheelchair wheels to help maintain traction in wet weather and in game play.

It will certainly give better grip then the bar itself
If caked in wet mud or paint then grip tape could be slippery but will have more grip then the bar covered in mud or paint

Get some plasti dip, it's a paint or spray on rubber gives really good grip, you can peal it of and start from scratch without any damage to your kit and they do loads of different colours as well.
I use it on my tank its like the new ninja ones that are out but with more grip.

sounds cool, may try it, especially as it's removable so i don't have to worry about upsetting the wheelchair loaners

You won't be disappointed. You just have to decide what colour

With this stuff, if you used the brush on tin how much does it show brush marks when dry?
