Grillz problem!

Hi guys, bought a set of grills a few weeks back, used them a few times and noticed that the lens doesnt sit properly in one side, where it clips in. iv tried putting the oposite side in first etc...but that just goes in fine and then the other side doest sit properly..and it comes loose (not what i need while im on the field)

anybody else had this problem?is there something im doing wrong?

oh and it looks like it doesnt really sit too well where the bottom of the lens goes into the face plate...

the lense stays in place when i hold it in and push the little plastic strip by the temple in. but as soon as i let go it slides out...

im thinking its a manufacturers fault....

any help greatly appreciated

make sure you clip the strap back on before you let go -the strap clips locks the plastic slide clip into place.

hi mate, thanks for the reply but thats not the problem, its the rubber vertical strip that comes down the ridge in the lense..

hard to explain, but as the lense wraps around theres a little step cut out...then the tab that the clip pushes into....

well its the bit the goes over the step in the lense is too tough..and possibly too thick.

When i push the lens in and the clips,one side slowly slides out because its not being held in place by the vertical strip

iv realised what it is, the strip of plastic/rubber in front of the left temple...that a drew an arrow to on the picture curves outwards to far...and so the lens cannot lock into place....

Ring up where you got them from and get them sent back, the shop should'nt mind and send you another pair

it was pure rush paintball....warren told me to take it up with DXS myself....:S...but iv emailed their ebay shop where i bought them from and they are going to ring up and ask for the manufacturers advice......

iv just tried the stock clear lense and that fits a little bit better....which is strange....as the smoke lense i got from lips is a vforce one...but the clear stock one still doesnt fit like it should

heat the rubber up and push in so you get an inward curve
