OK. Do not laugh, silly question I know.

The wife trying to surprise me, has bought a copy of the xbox game.

Problem being, she has got it from ebay, and its a ntsc or such thingy. from the states.

I do not know anything about the xbox, Its the bairns christmass present, so know nothing about it.

Can you use this or not??

Can I do something to the xbox to make it work??

Do I have to sell the game on????

Told you it was a stupid question, but it is the first time she has bought me a paintball related present.

NTSC won't work on a UK x-box Gary without modification.

Mods allow you to play imported and 'backup' games.

Sadly unless you have it chipped or have someone load you a new dashboard (software mod) it will not work

My copy of Greg Hastings (bought from PB Warehouse) is labeled NTSC on the packaging and on the disk but works perfectly fine on my unmodded UK Xbox. Although the pacakging was labeled 'PAL', i have heard that the game is not region locked and would work on a UK Xbox.

I think it's worth trying before you think of selling it on.

UPDATE.

It works!!!! Blinking heck!

It is labeled NTSC and is unopened.

The Xbox is brand new, from asda, no mod's.

Stuck it in and gave it a go, works fine....no problem.

So the wifes first chrimbo paintball pressie, was a success, just a shame I am crap at it.

Next got to get her to get me a newton kit for my a4 fly.

I wish they would bring it out for the PC. Cant beat a mouse and loads of keys. The online play would be alot more fun too. FPS have always been a huge waster of my time but they do help in real life pb, just wish i could snap shoot like i can online

You can get adapters so you can use a mouse and keyboard!
