Green led in E blade frame

Ok I was tinkering with my e blade timing today and came across a little green led that flashs everytime u shoot within the grip frame.
Anyone know the point of this?

Its to help drain the battery and force you to buy more Duracels

did cross my mind, but there must be a valid reason for it

My guess would be that it serves a similar purpose to the red LED inside a Race frame - it's there for troubleshooting (if the circuit board light flashes but the solenoid one doesn't, etc etc).

It also happens to add extra bling when you have clear/see-through-but-coloured dye stickes.

yeh, thought it might be summit like that. Shame i cant get different grips for the e blade
