Greasing?

I have some Dye slick lube for my ion and it says relube every 10,000 shots.
Should i or just clean it after every walkon, as i will probably only use 2,000 shots??

Its good practice to clean it after every walk on tournament etc etc, keep it in its best condition

Always clean your gun after every time you use it. Dont oil it every time you use it though. That aint too good for your marker.

But just make sure you keep on top of it every now and again, and always clean your kit!

I find a gat (especially spoolvalve) runs more consistently after the grease has worn in a bit, and if its greased properly an ion that has done 5-10,000 cycles shouldnt be suffering much if anymore wear than a gat that has been freshly greased, because the grease has had a chance to get everywhere it needs to be. I would strip and lube it as oftern as sp suggests.
Its good to always keep your gun in tiptop nick, but this doesnt mean lubing it unneccecarily.
The only reason gats like egos need the rammer lubing after every days play is because its Oil thats used and that a different thing altogether.
