Right...
Govnair system...3000psi, usually 1.9L bottle.
Single screw mount to dropforward.
Large (usually chewed up, by mole grips) preassure adjustment on front with Govnair written on it.
May also have a grub screw in the cap to lock it in place after setting preassure.
Wind it in to increase the preassure, out to decrease it, will supply from about 200psi to 900 psi.
Has a different, larger fill nipple as standard, but most have been changed to Air America standard type.

To strip it down, degas and unscrew bottle (only Govnair bottles will fit, new type bottles will not)
Slacken grub screw in cap if fitted, or unscrew cap slowly.
Remove cap with reg facing upwards.
Inside is a washer and also a set of Bevell Springs...These are washers that are concave and should come out and go back in, in this formation <><><><>, not stacked together!
after that is the main piston, its brass and has an O-ring around its widest part.
It has a long stem at the back, with a steel insert, which presses on the valve in the back of the reg, it also has a small adjustment screw in it, but this is factory set, and should not be adjusted without taking advice as it sets the vent preassure.
Turn the reg around.
there is the thread that the bottle screws on to, and screwd into this is a brass stem.
It has a nut section on it...undo this stem, and slowly remove.
Behind this is a spring, behind that a small ball bearing, and finally behind that is a white teflon O-ring. This Oring often wears, and can be replaced with an Automag on/off teflon o-ring.

Thats about it...dont use any oil or grease in the bottle end of the valve, and very light smear of grease on the spring pack and brass piston at the front.
