Will a Govnair 3000psi reg work on co2 and are the threads compatible ??

Anyone know ????

I dont suppose it can, cause can you fill co2 through a normal air fill nipple ??

Umm, why do you want to put CO2 through a HPA regulator??? If you want to destroy a Govnair, just hit it with a hammer or something, it'd be a lot safer and a lot less effort.

The reg would possibly 'work' (in that you'd get CO2 out of the output) for a very short while, but would then be totally knackered from the CO2 freezing the seals and o-rings.

As for threads, no idea - it's been too long since I owned either a Gov or CO2. I vaguely recollect that the Gov had an odd thread compared with other air systems of the day, but that's about it.

Technically you could rig up a hose to put through CO2 through a fill nipple, although how reliable that would be is another question.

sinner! i notice from your signiture that you are an angle tech.....could you help me with something, i want to convert my a.i.r to low pressure but dont have the tool to open it....have you got one?

In one of your other threads, somebody has volunteered to meet up with you at a tourney to sort your AIR out. If that falls through then email me via the fourm or post a mesage for me.

Alternatively, I've mentioned in one of my other posts re your Angel tool quest that you can use a pair of circ clip pliers or needlenose pliers instead of the official tool.
