GovNair HPA. Anyone know anything?

Ive got a GovNair HPA on an RT (hi rob!).
Does anyone know anything about these things.
Ive heard the bottle thread is different to the new Kevlar bottles so I cant change it. Is this true.
Any pointers anyone?

HI - YES ITS TRUE,you cant put any other bottle on the air system.angel air,armageddon,air america are all the same,but wdps govnair are totally different.why do you want to change it ?.

Hi.
Its a 1.9 Ali tank.
The original test date was 11-95. The latest one is 08-99. is it out of date or is that next year, the test thing is a little confusing!
Also, WDP said they dont do spares, and to replace the white o rings with the automag ones, should that do it as far as servicing goes?
Also. OIL. Is it ok to put some on the spring-o rings-ball bearing, or not at all on that side of the piston.?

hi - yes the tank is out of test,try planet for re-test.should be every 3 years.yes you can use the mag o rings,dont use oil on air systems,use a little bit of grease as recommended by wdp.the hardest thing to get for spares is the burst disc.hope this helps.

Spose I should try to get shot of it then, but cant afford a decent adj system, would like a flatline idealy.

hi - use the molycote they use on angels,it work better,just sold a flatline system, "o" well never mind.always de-gass before you adjust output pressure.

Why's that then? I take it you mean just the gun rather than the bottle.

there were two types of govnair system.in the end cap have you should have 2 holes where a peg spanner would fit to turn up output pressure.Either way when the bottle is under pressure it is hard to turn up the pressure.so if you undo the cap count how many turns until it comes off,then when you re-fit screw on the same,so you have to hardly move the cap to adjust the pressure.

Need to get an A clamp decant fitting before I can use me gun though!
Dont spose you would have any advice on colouring me gun would you?
Thinking of doing a spray job same metallic blue as my car (being careful to keep it off mating surfaces) but want to bake the finish on like they do in spray shops, to make it a bit tougher, then laquer it.
If not, anodizing.
